the benefits of music

Aside from being entertaining, music is scientifically proven to be a good source for therapy. Research has shown that music triggers brainwaves to resonate in sync with the beat, the faster the beat the more alert one becomes. With the alterations in brainwaves also comes change in other bodily functions such as heart rate & breathing rate causing one to be more relaxed. Music brings a positive state of mind, helping keep depression and anxiety at bay as well as lower blood pressure, relax muscles and boost immunity.
